Manage Client's Credit Card from Admin Area

Being able to pull up a client's credit card information in the Admin area and change it has been a feature on WHMCS since we started using it years ago.

It's beyond any comprension why this has been purposely removed in WHMCS 7.6.

We have clients call daily wanting to update their credit card details over the phone. Now the only way to do this is to use the "Login as client" method which makes no sense and is confusing our staff.

Whilch poayment gateways are you using please?

It has always been possible to manage credit card details in the admin area for merchant type gateways. It is also possible for some tokanisation type gateways in specific workflows. It is not possible to manage credit card details for third-party type payment gateways.

I am not aware of a specific change between 7.5 and 7.6 which would change any of this behaviour.

Hi John,

We're using EWAY Rapid 3.1.

In 7.5, it worked. When you added the card details it would create a token.

However, in 7.6, it will only save it locally if you use the "Manage Credit Card" feature in the Admin Area.

I raised this in a support ticket, and was asked to suggest it as a feature.
