form builder in WHMCS

rega shared this idea 6 years ago
Under Consideration

Hi,

It will be a good idea if Admin on WHMCS could create forms under WHMCS and let their clients see and fill . For example a hosting company needs to get client's feedback about her products, support, new services etc.

It will also be great if admins have opportunity give coupon to clients after filling those forms . This forms can enhance if it integrate with social networks like Facebook,Google+,...

Anything to help us have more control over the forms would be a wonderful feature. Currently, we use formstack to make our forms, then send the results to an email, and pipe the results in. It works OK. But we lose some of the other great functions of WHMCS by doing this. I would also love to turn piping off except for replies, but can not until we get a better form solution in place.

You can view our ticket submission for here to get an idea of how we are using formstack and whmcs together. Ideally, we just want to use whmcs, force client login, and then only pipe replies.

This would be great. I would for example like to request clients for certain addons if they want them added to their account, but in current form, it is impossible. Any one who have used hostgator knows how addons work. You complete a form if say you want an SSL added to your account and then submit. In this form, you have to supply authentification details. If this is added and intergrated, it would rely help in this processes

I am also thinking it can also be used to create a form which one can ask users to submit questions they want addressed / answered in kb. Have a look at the KB and you will notice there is no way of doing that in KB in the current form

It would be great for quotes on custom dedicated servers.

I'd like to see this option expanded to include page addition and color replacement. Similar editing capabilities of email templates would allows us to design and add legal, aboutus or other mostly text pages into our core installation. Minimally we should be able to paste our legal terms into a template that produces a page and navigational link consistent with the default theme. Without a legal page WHMCS fails as an out of the box solution.
