Extra notification emails on product setup.

Under Consideration

Some times there are products that have services attached that do not require us to create a new product item just for that service.

For instance, if someone buys one of my software items, they get a warranty and the first year of free support. I should not need to set up a product or addon item for warranty or for free support.

All i should need to do is to create a couple of email templates. And then on the original product setup in admin attach those extra emails so that when they order that product they also get a couple of extra emails along with the product email.

So what i am asking for is on the product setup page, on the welcome email and the terminaton email on the price page, just have 2 extra email inputs in both places. Maybe welcome 2 welcome 3 and termination 2 and termination 3. Even one extra each place would be great but 2 would be even better.

This way if i have a product that when they purchase that product i can send them a few extra emails wihout having to set up extra products or addons that are not required.

Thanks.

Hello,

Have you taken a look at the built in Email Marketing utility for WHMCS? It allows you to assign emails for products/services as well as client types which can automatically sent emails on a given date range, ie: If client orders product A, send email X, etc.http://docs.whmcs.com/Email_MarketerLet me know if this is something that works well for you

Yes i set up a test using the email marketing the other day. The problem is that i set it as you said if someone gets something i send them the email, and it sent me the email both days, so i have to go in and turn it on or off or del it all the time, its too much maintenance.

So to restate i got an email the first day and email the second day for the same thing and that would annoy my customers to death.
