due date change to date invoice is paid

hello,
presently whmcs has a feature where the date of invoice is changed to the date when payment is made, however the due date doesn't changes. this leads to a situation where invoice date is newer and due date is in past. request to add a feature to automatically set the due date also to the payment date or any other date in future (say 10 days plus).

I can see how it would be useful as an option, though.
