Client Profile Contact Type

Please consider Adding Contact Type. Under the Client Profile Contact tab. Currently the is not way to allow organization contacts based on type. Example would be contact types of Billing or Tech. The owner of the account (Profile) might not be the person who pays or the person who supports the web assets. Currently you can only just add contacts and give them functions.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Apart from being a different label for contact types. What do you see being the functional difference of a "Contact Type" field? How would the contact type option cause the system to function differently from changing the permissions assignements does currently?

It would create a logical path for the different type of contacts. Currently there is no definition of what type of contact or Function they preform. Workflow add contact type > assign to new contact person > Select what things contact can receive or permissions based on there needs or function as determined by the profile owner.

Tech contact > Brent Dacus > Receive email about technical issues. Not billing..

Hi Brent,

You can use the Email Notifications in each contact to select what emails this contact person will receive.

Any way the main account holder will receive all the emails (unfortunately) .

@ramf Yes understand.. Looking for an improvement to the system. As you said unfortunately. Which is why I am suggesting it be improved.
