Support Ticket Tab on Client Profile

Hello All.

It would be great to see a support tickets tab on the clients profile area :https://gyazo.com/87b5dc5143180482546b87f22b276526

This would help speed up client support due to the fact that all tickets were grouped for the client so you can review past support tickets without having to search through tickets in the main ticket area.

to be honest im surprised that it was never thought of before and added?

Already an option to view all support tickets. Go to client summary, on the right side there is a link to view all support tickets for that client..

I agree. A tab to quickly load the tickets for the current client would be nice. Similar to "Other Tickets" on the ticket view.

There is already a way to view all support tickets from a specific customer, go to the clients details page, on the right side there is a link to view all support tickets for that client.

Nathan, this does work, but it is far from ideal. Firstly I would have to go to the client main tab and then when I click show all support tickets I jump out of the client and more or less into the support system.

If I want to keep working with the same client I have to click back on the browser rather than just open a tab.

We should not have to compromise usability for such a basic function.

For a start you have to click on the client summary tab to access that link instead of just having a support ticket link on a tab.

Then it takes you away from the customer account. To keep working with that customer you would have to hit back in your browser multiple times instead of just jumping to the (for example) domains tab.

This is about improving usability.

Yes, Nathan, there is a way to view tickets for a specific customer but it isn't ideal. When using the link you speak of the filter for the support tickets window is adjusted so that only tickets for that client are shown. Now, let's say I am monitoring tickets in another browser tab; after I use this link that tab when refreshed will show me tickets only for the client I had clicked the "view all support tickets" links for. I have to reset the filter and that's silly.

LOL how is this already possible ? Please tell me ? The OP has said he wants to see a SUPPORT TAB, not a hidden link thats hard to find in the client profile you need to look for.

This is a usability issue, to be honest i didnt even realise there was a link to show all tickets of a client my eyes automatically went to look for a tab, like the other tabs.

Please include this tab so we may click it and see all tickets related to that client..

Hi,

Thanks for your comments and votes. I'm pleased to advise a new Tickets tab is being added to the client's profile in version 7.5.

We have implemented it using data tables which allows for dynamic sorting and filtering of tickets in the interface.
