Admin Permission to Hide Addons > Visit Marketplace

Hi,

I am unable to remove the WHMCS branding in the ADDON tab when a additional retail user is created. I

There is a dropdown link in the ADDON tab stating "VISIT WHMCS Marketplace"

This needs to be removed. And Enable / disable all the ADDON rights and Marketplace rights in the User Management / Permissions section should be a case of rights management. This would not just make the application Whitelabled as I have paid to remove the branding, but also will allow the owner / Administrator to decide which Right to be assigned to which user.

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion. Just to clarify; you have identified the difference between a branding-free client area and white-label.

WHMCS is sold on a basis of having a branding-free client area and order form, rather than being a white-label solution. Similarly we do not sell a licence which permits removal of the copyright notice from the admin footer.

Fact is that you got

your branding badly shaped. Branding free means branding free. We got the same

problem with the admin area where we allow administrators and personnel to

access specific areas which we provide permisssions to specific areas which you

in fact are overriding without permission. We sell WHMCS licenses and seriously want you

to consider your method of advertising that is annoying your users.
