Easier input of tracked time

It would be better if we could just enter hours and minutes worked for a specific date rather than have to start a timer, stop the timer, klick the tracked time, edit start time (date and time), edit end time (date and time), then save.

Should just be like, klick add time, enter time (0:45 or 0.75 for 45 minutes), change date if needed, add description and then hit enter.

i think that the possibility to edit time is very nice, because sometimes the staff forgot the timer on and times grows indefinitely

Or you just remember to enter the time you were working after finish the task... Happens all the time :D

Would be nice to have "add time" AND a preset rate per staff member.

It's pretty ridiculous that as long as the PM addon has been out, the ability to simply enter billable time on a task hasn't been added. It's downright annoying to have to manually go create time entries after the fact all the time by editing the begin and end times.

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion, votes and comments. I'm pleased to advise that in version 2 of the Project Management addon. On the Time Tracking tab, click the "Add time entry" button, you can then create a new item and specify start and end times - without needing to use the timer.
