Create ticket per task

Under Consideration

In the task manager, once the task is created, create a ticket and assign it to that client ID for response and communication.

Example:

  • edit htaccess as task 1 and correlating ticket for project x : task 1

Just to clarify, this is for project management tasks ticket emails that should be created to keep communication clear on a specific task and not related to the entire project.

So after creating your tasks or importing from template, click a button to create a task ticket with the client id to discuss the task progression and feedback. Having only one way to track tickets related to a project in now way allows the task assignee to work from project management UI to reply / communicate on that task ticket.

We can't be the only company believing the project management system as it stands is primative?

Yes i agree. Ive purchased it as i wanted something built into whmcs since i already use it, but the client view is very simplistic and un-satisfying, no progress bar, no activity reports (like they have in the admin area), no calendar view with concurrent events or upcoming events, etc. It's a good start but needs to be added to/built on.
